Seen here just north of SH Tower, the Norfolk Southern "Safety Award Blue Ribbon" train has just backed all the way here from Luther Yard in north St. Louis on the other side of the Mississippi River. It is now proceeding towards the entrance to the TRRA Illinois Transfer Sub, from which it will transfer to the Southern Crossing in East St. Louis and pick up the NS Southern West District. Final destination: Princeton, IN. |
